I requested a refund for three pairs of shoes due to major issues with sizing accuracy and comfort across the entire order. I am a true ladies’ 37 (size 6), yet both the Vex and the Izzar shoes were drastically inconsistent in sizing. The Vex pair fit closer to a size 5, while the Izzar felt more like a size 38. Neither pair fit correctly. On top of that, the Harlyn Clear Jelly Sandals were extremely uncomfortable, the toe thong pinched and created a painful pressure point, making them unwearable. Although the confirmation email stated that items could not be returned unless faulty, the problems I experienced were functional faults, not a change of mind. The sizing inaccuracies and the discomfort of the sandals meant I couldn’t wear any of the items. Had the sizing been accurate and the sandals comfortable, I would have happily kept everything. While I understand that sizing and comfort can vary, this went beyond normal variation. The products did not match the expected fit based on the size guide, which is the core issue. All shoes were unworn and in original condition, which I clearly stated multiple times and supported with photos. Despite this, customer service repeatedly insisted the shoes had been worn and therefore could not be returned. When I reiterated that they were unworn, the explanation suddenly changed to the items being “final sale,” something that had not been mentioned previously. It felt as though the reasoning shifted simply to avoid providing a refund. Given the inaccurate sizing, the discomfort of the sandals, and the lack of a fair resolution, I believe the items were not fit for purpose and should have been considered faulty. Overall, the experience was very disappointing and has made me hesitant to purchase shoes online again. I will not be buying from Williams in the future.
