Everyday Black Leather Knee High Boots

Comfortable, good fit, and great for a mid size calf.

Bought these after my 20+ year old Peter Shepherd Spanish made boots sprung an unfixable leak between the leather and sole. These boots are too wide in the calves and too big around the foot. They'll be okay with Explorer socks on and jeans tucked in. Disappointed given the hefty price tag. They are beautiful, classic boots, but try in store before you buy to make sure they fit properly. Have bought many DF shoes online, never a problem with sizing, but it's been very inconsistent this year.

These boots are beautiful, but unfortunately they are a narrow fit. I have other pairs of Diana Ferrari boots in size 42 which fit perfectly, so I felt confident ordering online (I usually don't for shoes because I have difficult-to-fit feet). Sadly, these boots were far too narrow. It almost felt as if they were a size or two too small, and I had to double check the size stamped on the sole. It would be helpful for future reference to include an indication of width - narrow/standard/wide - on the website. The boots are really lovely, and I am really disappointed that they don't fit.

Lovely soft leather, great heal height and foot width but yet again in my search for comfortable black leather boots...too wide on the calves!
