Abacus 2 Black Leather

My first pair of Colorado shoes since the 90s! I just wanted comfortable and lasting work shoes and was let down by my $160 Supersofts. These shoes are great so far and I don't have aching feet after a 9hr day. Initially I was annoyed as the back of the shoe at heel seemed very low, but as they wore in, it is perfect. I did have to buy a shoe horn for ease of putting them on due to that though. Very slightly feel sometimes that my foot is sliding forwards, toes too close against the front of the shoe, but not dramatically. For reference, my feet are very narrow and small. I bought a size 6, which is my usual size.

I bought the usual size 8 that I had a couple of times before. Loved the shoes and wore them until they were worn out. Purchased another pair this year, size 8, were too big. Exchanged them for another size 8 and still too big. I dont understand why my previous pairs, the size 8s were perfect fit but this year, both the size 8s I purchased are too big and my feet slip out at the back. Something has changed with them. The sad thing is where I bought them from dont believe I havnt worn them, which I couldnt possibly have done as they dont fit. How can shoes of the same size, alter. Now I am unable to find the next size down to try on. Really has put me off these shoes which I have had the same shoes many times but now seems there is a design or size alteration. So frustrated.

Awesome loafers. So comfortable it feels like walking on cushions. Only setback i had trouble with one padding being a little short near toes.

I’m usually a size 7 and read the reviews that these run small so got an 8 and they were still way too small so had to return. The quality is also really poor. Definitely not the same quality as the 2010’s version and this version has an elastic strap that goes over the foot. Alright if you want added security but it was super uncomfortable and added to the too tight feel.
